COP26 Summary and Carbon Neutrality for clients with TGN

TGN - Investment and Insurance - The Climate Change Financial Advisers

“TGN - The Green Network creating a better future by helping clients become carbon neutral, investing in our carbon constrained future and managing future risks.”

My thinking here is that we already help client manage risk, finances and monitor investments, so why not also add in the elephant in the room - Carbon footprints and how to achieve carbon neutrality. It’s kind of another of those things, I’m thinking here - insurances, wills, home maintenance etc - things that we have such good intentions about, that we intend to do and just because we just don’t have enough time we tend to put off and never get around to it. Our carbon footprint is becoming more and more an actual thing we need to think about. I think that I can help clients achieve it quite easily… let me know if you’re interested… you can make a time to talk by clicking here

Dr F. Perry Wilson of the Yale School of Medicine provides an update of COVID vaccine booster shots

“In short, Pandora's box is open, the boosters are here, and regardless of what the FDA and CDC say, the provision of them is functionally in the hands of patients and doctors. Is this how the system should work? Probably not. But in this case, it's hard to find a justification to deny boosters to those who really want them.”

F. Perry Wilson, MD, MSCE, is an associate professor of medicine and director of Yale's Clinical and Translational Research Accelerator.

We talk about having backward looking glasses in investment, meaning wouldn’t it be great to have the power to see the future… well here is what some very talented scientists and film makers have put together… the choice as they say is ‘Yours’ -

‘What does the future hold for humanity and our changing climate in the 21st century? Using projections from the IPCC Fifth Report and the climate science literature, we've put together a timelapse showing what may lie ahead. On the left hand side of the screen you'll see an "optimistic" view, where although we continue to emit carbon dioxide at significant levels, investments in clean energy and mitigation try to curb the damage. On the right hand side, you'll see a future where humanity emits as much as we please and very little mitigation takes place.’
