The link at the bottom is to a blog post from Melissa Bayley on the lastest and most alarming of the 7 yearly International Panel on Climate Change Reports. I remember clearly trying to discuss the IPCC reports back in the early 2000’s when I was part of the team at a start up investment fund called Carbon Logic which was set up by No.8 Ventures amongst others to invest in ‘A Carbon Contrained Future’ and trying to convince people to take it seriously… the debate being then about whether the climates change was Anthropological or just the earths natural rhythm of evolution, caused by Sun flares and the such like. People looked to scapegoat the ‘inconvenient truth’ rather than show a willingness to confront it, this is of course still true to today, but according to NIWA CO2 measures at Baring Head ( https://niwa.co.nz/atmosphere/our-data/trace-gas-plots/carbon-dioxide ) here in NZ have gone from 370 parts per million in 2003 to over 410 PPM in 2020 and are continuing to accelerate… Have a read of Melissa’s Blog and maybe get involved…?
